Sea Point & Surrounds

Bantry Bay, Fresnaye, Sea Point, Green Point and Mouille Point are characterised by a seafront promenade that is a favourite amongst the locals for running along, ambling along and generally getting out. Set back from the promenade are numbers of high rise apartment buildings with stunning sunset sea views.

Sea view waterfront apartments are generally expensive. Then immediately behind these on the lower slopes of Signal Hill, and adjacent to Main Road, are less posh cottages and apartments, many of them with no off street parking, which is always a detractor in Cape Town. Moving higher up the hill, one again encounters large mansion style houses which perch on the hill overlooking the ocean.
