Clifton, Tamboerskloof & Higgovale, Area Guide
Overview of Clifton, Higgovale, Tamboerskloof
Home to the super rich, Clifton is characterised by some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. A Clifton beach is a great place to spend a hot summer day. During December, parking can be a pain, but is by no means impossible. One the other side of Lion's Head at the foot of Table Mountain are Higgovale and Tamboerskloof, which are great residential suburbs, in a great location close to the city, with great views, and no traffic issues. Many guesthouses are located here. Click here for Clifton Accommodation and Tamboerskloof Accommodation
Clifton, Higgovale, Tamboerskloof - Real Estate Value
Although property in Clifton is cheap compared with equivalent locations elsewhere in the world, the area has some of the most expensive real estate in South Africa. Given the location and setting though, this is hardly surprising.Tamboerskloof and Higgovale are wealthy suburbs really close to Cape Town. They are extremely desirable addresses and I believe their value will keep climbing.
