Constantia Accommodation | Where to Stay
I only have a limited number of recommendations for accommodation in Constantia at the moment. Not because there are limited options, but because of my limited knowledge. Constantia is a beautiful, peaceful suburb with access to wine farms and the mountain and I would personally stay there with no hesitation whatsoever.
Anyway, here are the establishments I recommend based on personal knowledge.
I used to live in this quiet little street in Constantia when I was 10 years old, and then my cousin discovered this B&B quite independently and booked to stay here about three years ago. She loves the B&B and returns every year. It was quite a coincidence that she found Kaapse Draai, because we know the owners who were our neighbours for many years. Anyway, I can’t recommend Kaapse Draai highly enough. Their photos on their website don’t do it justice. If you browse to my Constantia page and mouse over Picardie Avenue on the map, you’ll get a good idea of the immediate area. It is really gorgeous. Kaapse Draai is a real gem.

The Alphen Hotel … To my mind this hotel offers great value for money. The atmosphere and charm it offers is absolutely on a par with the more shockingly expensive Constantia hotels. It offers great quality, in a fantastic location at extremely reasonable rates compared with the other hotels.
