Wakame Restaurant Mouille Point

I always enjoy eating at Wakame Restaurant, on Beach Road, Mouille Point. Their food is consistently good. The view out to sea is stunning. Wafu, the wine bar at the top is open air with an amazing ambience.

Last night I had sushi, others had duck. Main course is around R 80 to R120. Wine around R140 (varies widely in price so this is an average). Dessert R45.

Their menu includes a broad variety of food, with something for everyone. What caught my eye was their lobster or crayfish which I would have ordered if it weren’t that I frequently dive for my own crayfish anyway. It was reasonably priced at R169.

Getting there:

Drive from the Waterfront on Beach Road towards Mouille Point. It’s about 300 metres before the lighthouse on your left. Look out for Newport Deli. It is directly above that.
