On Broadway Theatre, Cape Town

Think Madonna, Erasure, Depeche Mode, Cyndi Lauper…. and it’s all happening at On Broadway Theatre in Shortmarket Street! A group of us went to see “SO 80s”. And it was absolutely brilliant. Well done Francois Liam, Shannyn Fourie, Ebrahiem Inglis, Bronwyn Reddy you were flippin’ fantastic. A real nostalgic trip (OK 80s nostalgia is tinged with snorts of laughter at the ludicrousy of the era). And the four cast members hit the nail absolutely on the head.

On Broadway always runs a variety of constantly changing shows. Do go and see a show there. It’s really worth it.

On Broadway Restaurant Bar & Theatre

I loved the 80s show so much that I’m going to see it again just before it finishes, and then am going directly to the Biscuit Mill’s Friday’s Eighties Club Nite.

You can also have dinner at On Broadway. We didn’t, so I can’t review the dinner, but when I go back, I’ll be sure to eat and report back.
